Maybe he’s actually just who he is. Just Amon. A guy that traveled to the spirit world, learned energybending and is now attacking republic city? He’s not Bumi, or Aang, or anybody who we’ve known before. He’s just who he is. Amon
I swear these theories are so silly and out of place sometimes. I think its just going to cause a huge letdown when we all discover that Amon is really just Amon, a guy with a vision for the future, a kickass battle plan, and a hatred for benders, and an energybender.
If he is someone we’ve met before or a relative, great, that’ll be a fun twist. Until then, I’m not going to watch “Bumi” or “Yakone” or “A Cyborg” in this show, I’m going to watch and enjoy AMON. He’s cool without the huge twist on his identity, so why make one?

I don’t really know why this frustrates me so much… Maybe its my personal nostalgia.. Maybe its those fabulous purple pants… maybe its because his hair is a very odd shade of orange…. Whatever the reason, I hate this redesign of Gary Oak. With a passion.
